1. Who is responsible?

Counting2 is operated by Loveall.se in Sweden. Loveall.se is responsible for the processing of personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we process

When a countdown is created, we store:

• The title and optional message.
• The selected date, time, time zone and theme.
• The countdown link and creation time.
• Whether the creator chose to join the public Trending Countdowns chart.

Countdown content is visible to anyone who has the link. Do not include sensitive or private information.

If the creator voluntarily joins Trending Countdowns, the title, optional message, timer, selected theme and aggregate popularity counts may be displayed on a public chart. Counting2 uses the necessary session cookie to limit repeated views and reactions without storing an IP address for this feature.

When content is reported, we may also store:

• The reported countdown and report reason.
• Additional information supplied by the reporter.
• An email address, if the reporter chooses to provide one.

Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request time and requested URL in normal server and security logs.

3. Why we process information

We process information to:

• Create, display and share countdowns.
• Generate social preview images and calendar files.
• Prevent abuse, spam and security incidents.
• Receive and investigate content reports.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve the service.
• Comply with legal obligations and lawful requests.

4. Legal bases

We process submitted data to provide the service requested by the user. We also rely on legitimate interests where necessary to operate, secure and improve Counting2, prevent misuse and handle reports. Some information may be processed to comply with law.

5. Cookies

Counting2 uses a necessary session cookie for security functions such as protecting forms against forged submissions. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

6. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with hosting and technical service providers that process it on our behalf. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to lawful authorities, or to protect users, rights and service security.

When you share a countdown through another platform, that platform processes the link and preview under its own privacy policy.

7. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside Sweden or the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for such transfers.

8. How long information is kept

Countdown information is kept while the countdown remains available and may later be removed when it is expired, inactive, reported or no longer needed. Reports are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, document actions and meet legal obligations. Technical logs are retained according to operational and security needs.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access, correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, and receive certain information in a portable format.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

10. Children

Counting2 is not intended for publishing sensitive personal information about children. Do not include a child's full contact details, address or other sensitive information in a countdown.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Anyone with a countdown link may be able to view and forward it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, our practices or applicable rules change. The current version and its update date will be published on this page.
